Just a minute in… November
Wow, I can’t believe November is almost over. 2010 is just around the corner, I should start my end-of-the-year obligations already. But let’s get to this month’s Just a Minute (courtesy of August Street).
Listening… to Cobra Starship, Lady Gaga, She & Him, Led Zeppelin, The Killers & Interpol. And a lot more, but that’s just the sort of stuff that has been going on in my head lately.
Reading… Lolita, by V. Nabokov.
Watching… Old Audrey Hepburn movies, The Dreamers, and rock’n'roll movies like Rock’n'roll High School.
Buying… Cookies, Books and a 2010 Moleskine planner.
Wanting… Vacations!
Trying… Not to fail Economy. I think I did well on the test, but not well enough. Let’s see how that goes.
Loving… Jimmy Page, dancing through the night, laying in bed reading all day, daydreaming, my family, writing letters & cards, Christmas approaching.
Making… Lists & plans, as usual.
Writing… Blog content, music lyrics, lists.

Audrey Hepburn movies are the best. I can never get tired of them! Besides Breakfast at Tiffany’s I really liked How to Steal a Million, I obsessed over it for a while and it isn’t even one of ‘the best’. If I wasn’t allergic to cats I’d definitely get one and call it Cat.

What a coincidence! I’ve been listening to She & Him and Lady GaGa obsessively these past few weeks. Both very different, but equally as inspiring.

have you read Lolita before? Its one of my favourite books of all time!! I love this idea for a post, I think i may have to borrow/steal/appropriate it!

How are you finding Lolita? It’s one of my favourite books ever, although I find it really draining to read because it’s just so intense.
